Anticipating Harry Potter HBP

July 16th , 2005 was a much awaited day, no it was not an anniversary but the release of the sixth book of Harry Potter and the half blood prince. Mekal is an avid fan of Harry Potter books. So it goes without saying that there was a ritual countdown waiting for the day.

Plans were made weeks in advance, so as to carefully avoid any commitments this weekend. The only objective was to rush to the store and be the first to grab a copy of HBP. There was an implicit expeectation that i am not to expect anything vaguely in terms of Mekals time this weekend. In fact i obliged after teasing her quite a bit and making sure that i was owed big time for this favor.

Will we get there on time and grab a copy we have wait and see one more day…
